Why should i register my mobile number ?

By registering the mobile number only you can delete incoming records.
You can edit the incoming data afterwards.
You can get a notification about new incoming data.

May i send data without registering my mobile number ?

Yes, this is possible.
Be aware, that everyone can delete such unprotected record after 2 days.
That's why it's recommended to register your mobile number.

Can i send data only via SMS ?

No, you can send data via E-Mail too.
Please send the data to <Mobilnumber>-robot@gpstrack.xtremeweb.de
So if your number is +49179123456781, send the E-Mail to
49179123456781-robot@gpstrack.xtremeweb.de
Please enter the data into the 'message' part of the mail, not into
the 'subject' field.
Please send the mail as pure textmail.

The SMS->E-Mail Gateway ?

As a side effect there exists a SMS->E-Mail Gateway too.
You can use it to send a SMS to an E-Mail address.
This could be useful, if sending an E-Mail through your GSM provider is more
expensive than sending a SMS.
Send a SMS to +4915156914243
The content of the SMS contains the E-Mail address of the receiver, followed
by a whitespace, followed by the message text.
Inside the E-Mail address you can substitute the '@' sign with a '*' (star)
